FullStack Bootcamp Instructor Lead
Who are we?
Elevation is shaking things up in how technical education is taught. We mix the classic hands-on, project-oriented approach with new self-paced, blended-learning classrooms to teach relevant tech skills, from FullStack Development to DevOps and more. You’ll be interacting with code and solving problems every day, but instead of sitting in front of your computer for hours on end, you’ll get to work with humans and share your own knowledge and experience.
What will you be doing?
Your main responsibility will be to take charge of our flagship FullStack Bootcamp. That means lecturing, managing other Instructors/Assistant Instructors, taking ownership over content and projects, and generally having an impact on the lives of our students. It is a big responsibility with an opportunity to make a serious difference in someone’s life.
The FullStack Bootcamp teaches the entire MERN stack to anyone who has the perseverance to learn it. Some of our students have come from entirely non-tech backgrounds like door-to-door sales and construction, and gone on to become developers in companies such as IBM, Wix, IronSource, 6over6 in Front, Backend, and FullStack positions.
The teaching position is full-time but can go down to 80% over time. You will have other responsibilities as well, including some technical assignments (writing projects, contributing to our Learning Management System - JS, Python), and developing/managing our FullStack learning modules.
The TechEd (Technical Education) team is part of Elevation Academy, an educational ecosystem offering the most up-to-date training for the industry’s most in-demand skills - from immersive, full-time Coding Bootcamps to Digital Marketing and Community Management workshops. We are based in Tel Aviv with offices in Jerusalem, and plan to expand our educational offerings to new & exciting international destinations during 2019.
